Description:
WinMaze is a 3D online game where you control a smiley through a 3D-maze. But instead of a 3D shooter, in WinMaze the goal is to reach a specified amount of money, that you get if you kill other players. During gameplay, you can decide that you want to save money to win the maze as fast as possible, but you can also buy additional items to give you some advantages against your enemies. For example, you can buy to walk and shoot faster, you can buy invisibility, you can upgrade your weapon and much more. The game is based on the original "MidiMaze II" for Atari ST computers and has been set up again in a modern 3D OpenGL environment with many improvements for massive multiplayer fun! Play on server that are online 24h / day, play and chat in different rooms, meet your friends online and join the growing community of WinMaze!

Recent changes in this Major Update:
The main window can now be dragged and minimized Alt+Return toggles fullscreen mode The item invisibility is now causing the player to be still slightly visible for better gameplay Added vertex and pixel shaders to improve graphics Added bump mapping support for the floor texture Added shader support for players Some other graphics improvements Speed increase, good for slow computers Fixed bug that caused WinMaze not to insert the correct "Money to win" value in the create single player game dialog WinMaze is now distributed in one package only Added descriptions -/+/0 to mouse sensitivity sliders in the controller configuration to make clearer that negative values are possible as well Added a glowing effect if a shot hits a wall Fixed bug that caused WinMaze to crash after a multiplayer game Improved the smoothing of player movements A LOT, no more flickering artifacts or other things, just perfect smooth movement
